CUE WORKSHOP - EXAMPLE:

REMIX is a 90es word. It's become an essential part of the music industry. Although more than that, it's an attitude, -whereas you don't see yourself alone within a work process. You produce a piece of music and you hand it over to someone else, to work on it and reshape it. This is done with all sorts of goals in mind: to make it more commercial, more or less danceable, make it accessible to people who are into a different style of music, or out of curiosity of what the other producer might make of it.
This idea or work process can easily be applied to all sorts of media. This is the core idea of the CUE workshop.

The work process is illustrated by Uwe Wittwer's recent work as an artist within the CUE workshop context.

It has been part of Wittwer's work method since years to use photographic images as source for his paintings. In the past two years, Wittwer has begun to attribute an alltogether different value to the photographic images, -working on the computer, producing original works by printing with inkjet on to large scale watercolour paper.
The book "Relative Stille/RelativelyStill" is a result of this work process and Wittwer's involvement with CUE
